The Department of General Practice at UCC was established in June 1997, with the appointment of Colin Bradley to the Chair. It is a small but dynamic Department with numerous teaching and research interests, and takes an active role in supporting and developing GPs and primary care professionals.
Established in 2007, the Department of Psychology is one of six academic units in the Faculty of Education and Health Sciences. General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) figures show that the University of Sunderland is consistently one of the top-ranking Schools of Pharmacy in the National Registration Assessment. The pass rate in 2019 was 89.82% which is significantly above the national average of 72.33%
